Grey grenache, a mutation of red grenache, has an orange color that becomes grey when ripe. Difficult to compare with other references, SiurAlta Gris has a boisterous character, terpenic notes and is able to flirt with oxidation. Old grey vines barely exist, they’re often mixed with other grenaches. In order to make Gris possible, 2 hectares in Gritella were replanted, close to Siurana. In elevated hillsides with Northern orientation.
